Rochester sports teams

Rochester is known as one of the biggest minor league markets for sports. After seeing the Rochester Lancers I will have seen all of the sports teams here. I have seen the Raiders (arena football), Rhinos (Soccer), Amerks (hockey), Razor Sharks (basketball), Red Wings (baseball), and Knight hawks (indoor lacrosse). The only team I didn't see was the Lacrosse team. They moved them before I got to see them but I think they maybe being replaced.

My Niece via Skype

She is quickly approaching two. I love her so much. I just got off of Skype with her. She wanted me to watch an episode of Dora with her so I did. Our relationship has primarily been through Skype. I try to talk to her everyday. It is amazing how fast she is growing up. Thanks to Skype I get to see it. Although it is not as good as in person it will have to do for now. I am surprised I don't write more blogs about her. Well that is all for now.

Dell E 310 you have treated me well over the years. We spent many long nights doing case studies and designing websites. You have worked fairly flawlessly through out those years. You came to me at an outstanding Christmas sale discount with many free upgrades. You came to me at a time of need as my laptop had been stolen. I will miss you. I hope your next owner will enjoy you just as much and the money earned from selling you will go toward another great computer. So fair well my Dell E310.

Hello Toshiba laptop. You are welcome to my family of gadgets & gizmos. You two have come to me in a time of need for a new windows machine & at a clearance price. You have big shoes to fill with your smaller sleeker shell. I believe you can do it. You have gotten off to a food start my PC. May our journey together be long.

Happy New Year?

The last few days have been up and down. I switch between being grateful for what I have and disappointed at where I am in life.

I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a good job with great employees, a awesome family, an education, my health and many of the small luxuries we take for granted plus some.

I also have alway had high expectations of myself. I have always exceeded those expectations. I am getting bored with my job, Rochester, and sacrificing so much for what has seemed like nothing. I am still single and not sure I want to be in a relationship.

Reflecting on 2011 makes me wonder what progress I even made. I guess it is all about how you look at it. I did many things in 2011. None of which I planned and didn't do anything I had planned. Maybe that is what I take away from 2011. To flow with life. That life doesn't always go as planned (hardly ever).

So here I am looking at a new year with new challenges, new goals, new desires. I may just be entering a new phase in my life. It is time for me to continue to move forward in my life pursuits but remember to enjoy the little things along the way.
